Meet Lisa Wiater

Lisa Wiater is a secondary school teacher of English Language Arts in New Jersey. She holds multiple degrees including a master’s degree In Holocaust and Genocide Studies from Gratz College, a TOH Teaching License from William Paterson University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has traveled to Europe, Israel, Rwanda, and China to gain first-hand knowledge about various atrocities. After meeting so many amazing individuals, Lisa created a semester-long high school elective, "The Power of ONE: The Holocaust & Beyond.” Additionally, she developed a web-site that combines her interests in business and genocide, “Complicit: American Business & the Holocaust.” Her goal is always to remind individuals that one person can make a difference--for good or for evil.
